Dr. Robert Bushman attended Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland and graduated from the University of Southern California School of Medicine in Los Angeles in 1973. He is double board certified in Dermatology and in Dermatopathology (the interpretation of skin biopsies). Dr. Bushman has extensive training and expertise in all aspects of dermatology, including cosmetic dermatology and dermatologic surgery. Dr. Bushman specializes in the removal of moles and skin cancers and prides himself in his “painless mole removal” technique. In 1992, he was one of the first physicians in San Diego to utilize BOTOX for cosmetic purposes and enjoys combining BOTOX treatments with filler agents to provide patients with a non-surgical option for looking more youthful. Dr. Bushman also utilizes various laser techniques to resurface sun-damaged and aged skin. In addition, he has more than 20 years of experience in injection techniques for the elimination of spider veins (sclerotherapy) and varicose veins. Dr. Bushman is the past President of the San Diego Society of Dermatologic Surgery as well as a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery. He is a member of the BOTOX National Education Faculty. Dr. Bushman has also received the Excellence in Teaching Award from the University of California San Diego. |
