ActiveFX

ActiveFX is a fractional laser procedure performed in a single treatment with minimal downtime (approximately 5 days).  High energy laser light is used to smooth out lines, wrinkles and scars, remove brown spots and other irregularities and tighten the skin.   Most effects of treatment become visible right away, whereas others - such as new collagen formation, which leads to continued inner tightening - build up gradually and become more evident over time.

The Thermage® procedure is the only non-invasive treatment that delivers tighter skin,             renewed facial contours and healthier collagen.  You’ve heard the buzz on Oprah and now the Thermage® procedure is available to you right here at Grossmont Dermatology.   Radio frequency technology  uniformly heats the deeper collagen layers of the skin causing immediate tightening.    No downtime is involved and normal activities can be resumed right away.   Over time, new and remodeled collagen is produced to further tighten the skin, resulting in healthier, smoother skin and a more youthful appearance.  One to three  Thermage® procedures may be indicated for optimal lifting and tightening.
